In the chapter, "Reading" in the book, "Walden", Henry Thoreau wrote, "I do not wish to flatter my townsmen or be flattered by them. That will not advance either of us. We need to be provoked into a trot." I understand Henry's view. I wish to excite in a peaceful way for harmony. My intention is that my views will give the reader the inspiration to gather reading material on their favorite subjects to enhance their lives
If you build a foundation for a house that is not level, it will make the structure tilted. It would be difficult to put level framed windows and doors on that house. It would be much extra work. It would be easier to re do the foundation.
That's somewhat like the current situation in most peoples' lives. Politician's pass law after law and yet peoples' lives and the environment still need more lasting solutions year after year. It's because the politician's foundation of the basic meaning of freedom needs to be re-done. That's the only real help for society. When the word freedom is interpreted properly, then all major problems that arise in society will be easier to deal with. I'll discuss somewhat my solutions of the situations that happen because of the politician's limited view. However, as will be explained many times, lasting solutions will only occur when the word "freedom" is interpreted correctly and the basic foundation of society is re-done.
There is an expression- "the truth is simple". It's true. It's a very simple flowing world when we adhere to what creation has provided free. Most economists, city planner's, politicians, lawyers, judges, etc. will say my views are unobtainable. That's because these people view the world from their limited interpretation of the word freedom. They should look more at the earth planet as the astronauts see it. The astronauts see a beautiful, blue, green globe rich in abundant life to sustain us. The basis of my essays is that my views are, by nature, obtainable. Nature teaches the correct interpretation of the word freedom. All the holy books talk about this Eden of paradise that the Creator has given humans.
In reality, my feeling is that this freedom probably will only happen by some sort of divine intervention on the planet. The simple fact remains, though, that freedom "is" possible
For instance, there is a difference between an unwanted job and doing work one loves. Every kind of work in life can be done artistically. Artistic work is a joyful and creative experience. Again, this is obvious when viewing the planet earth from space as the astronauts do. The creation of the natural world gives humans the vehicle to physically and mentally do self-fulfilling, happy, creative, non-toxic, organic work to get the ultimate in living comfort. This was given to humans for free from the creator. Whatever your spiritual belief is, who your God is or if you're an atheist, the natural world is given to us free to enjoy the ultimate in living..
You could go to any neighborhood in any state in the U.S. and randomly choose 100 children. Take them to the halls of Congress and the Senate. Tell them the issues that need to be dealt with. The children would get deeper in every issue because they come from the innocence that penetrates to a more lasting solution. There is a book titled, "Everything you want to know, you learned in kindergarten." It explains the simplicity of life and how one learns it early. One can also retain this knowledge later in life. As you read my essays, bring out the child within (the child in kindergarten)..
